I just saw another article online about the solar eclipse that took place on August 1, 2008. I only wanted to post this blog up about it because of the breath-taking shots some photographers got to grasp. I got a good amount of pictures I want to share with yall :D

Chinese word for a solar eclipse is called 'Rishi' meaning, 'eating the sun', can be seen above visitors at the Jiayuguan Fort on the Great Wall of China.

People watching the partial solar eclipse through special glasses from the roof of an observatory  in Germany.

Solar eclipse is seen in Harbin, China.

A Metropolitan Policeman watches the partial solar eclipse of the sun through his solar sunglasses in Hyde Park, central London.

These are people watching the full solar eclipse from a yacht-club on the bank of River Ob in the Siberian city of Novosibirsk. Thousands of people flocked from all around the world to Novosibirsk to gaze at mother nature beauty.
