Strong Earthquake Rocks California

Yesterday, they claimed that California 'dodges a bullet' as a 5.4 earthquake rocks our region. This shook everyone that had felt the earthquake that afternoon, just reminding us of the big earthquake in Northridge back in 94'. While all this was happening, I was in my room and all of a sudden everything started to shake and things were being knocked down from the shelves. I was just trying my best to keep my balance in my room and was just tripping out thinking, "No way, this is an earthquakee..." So I quickly I ran into my grandma's room to see if she was okay after I felt the aftershock, luckily she barely even felt it cause she was lying on her bed. The news says that the quake started in Chino Hills and was felt all the way to San Diego and Las Vegas. They also say that this is just a warning for the 'Big One' thats gonna hit California soon and there's no technology predicting when the 'Big One' might hit. But they do say that they have the technology that can warn people 30 sec. prior to another earthquake hitting but because it is so expensive our government has denied it. I love LA but I gotta get outta here O_O

Just a little visual on how far the Earthquake had hit in So Cal.

Luckily, there wasn't any serious damages or injuries from this earthquake.

My Short Summer Maryland Trip

Of course, I went to Maryland again this summer cause I just needed to get the f*#$ out of California for a little bit. And since I didn't get to really go venture anywhere this summer, I thought I'd go visit my aunt and uncle out there and some friends too. Soon as I got there that night, it started to rain and storm like there was no tomorrow. I mean, Wow! I just can't stand the weather out there cause it's always just humid and not just sunny and nice like the Cali shine :] Anyways, my objective was to stay there for about 2 weeks and spend some real quality time with my family cause every time I went, I really didn't get to hang out with them other then when I was working for them. But due to some emergency back at home I had to come back to see how my bros were holding up. Thank the merciful Lord that they are doing good right now. If you see this guys, my prayers are still going out to you guys wherever you are and a lot of people here are praying for your well being as well.

This is my aunt, we went to go shopping and I just thought it was a funny picture :]

These are the infamous blue crabs of Maryland! Did you know they are slowly running out of these bad boys out there cause its in such high demand? Please mother nature and do your thing and reproduce more of them!

Met some new friends out there while I was there for a short period of time. Haha. Meet this cool cat, the name's Chronic.

Chronic wouldn't let me take a good picture and this was probably like the 50382073 take.

Right before I was dropped off at the airport, you know how we do.. Just had to get blazed before that long ass-numbing 6 hour flight back.

Batman: The Dark Knight

The other night I went to watch Batman with Kevin, Vivian, and Jon. First of all, I want to start of saying that this movie has broken another box office record becoming the fastest film to earn $200 million. WOW.. O_O Anyways, the movie was unbelievable and I was just speechless afterwards. The acting was just super and just had me on the edge of the seat the whole two and half hours of the movie (which is hard to do these days for some reason). But it made me think how the movie would of really ended if Heath Ledger was still alive. But for those of who haven't watched it, I highly recommend  for you to go watch it. Rest in Peace Heath Ledger, great way to go out with a bang.

Glow Santa Monica

One of my friend, Nancy shared with me an event that was going down for free at the Santa Monica pier last night. It was an art exhibition right off the pier and the beach of Santa Monica. There were thousands of people and I felt like I was at a rave for some reason but there were just a ridiculous amount of people in one spot. People were walking the streets with glowsticks in the hair and carrying them around, but I thought it was kinda cool. When we got to the pier there were a bunch of artworks scattered around from the pier to both sides of the beach. My favorite was the light works in the water fountain that was off the beach while listening to the dj spin. It was pretty tiring by the end because we had to walk so much but it was pretty neat to check out since it was free.

This project was my favorite art work there and it changes everytime people yell in the microphone because it is control some how by sound. Sounds kinda cool?

This it the Santa Monica pier packed as fck!

I just had to take a picture. Look how fckin' dope that shit looks!

Hiroto, buddy u gotta learn how to drive freals.. HA!

I was taking a picture of hiroto, then all of a sudden these people jumped into the picture.

Then more people jumped into the picture! ahah I thought that was funny. Everyone's all rollin' balls over there and being all nice and retarded. lol

Take two!

There were people raving on the beach and people getting light shows as well.

When we got there this was all there was left but the guy said there were thousands of glowsticks stuck in the ground. But as the night proceeded people started to take them and that was what was left of it. I'm guessing that was his piece for the exhibition.

Homeland Lock Down 08'

Josh and I went to Long Beach to go watch the dance competition at Homeland. When we got there they were doing the locking battles so we just came in time for the pop locking battles. Everyone danced well and it was inspiring to watch. I left my camera in the car so I just took pictures with my iphone but the thing does wonders I can't lie. Afterwards, our fatasses went to Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles in downtown and stuffed our faces :]

Jordans and Skateboards!

Aaron's sexy cool grey spizikes! They don't call it cool grey for nothing, that's for sure. Damn, brother A.. you got 99 problems but your kicks most definitely ain't one!

Aaron finally got his Jordan 4's like he wanted and he just seemed like the happiest kid in the world with his face glowing. He waited at the Southbay Galleria since 6 in the morning til 10 am to cop these sexy things. I ended up not buying a pair (thank goodness) cause it left me with some extra cash in my pocket for sure.

Later that day Paul, Aaron and I went to CHP Surf to go finish the rest of my skateboard and I finally go to deck out my board! While we were there Paul and I decided to get Aaron's early b-day gift and we got him this sick ass Sector 9 board. Envy us bitchesss! Let's ride people!

Official Jordan Collezione 19/4 Released Today

So Aaron calls me all hyped up about the Jordan 4's coming out again today. He came over and he was telling me about the different stores he went to go reserve his Collezione pack thats being released today. I must say.. I really do want the Jordan 4's but I don't know if I want to pay $200-300 for a pair of shoes. Especially cause it comes with the ugly XIX's along in the pack but I could never find my size for the IV's. Yeah, it's pretty lame but what can I do?  Brother's got me all hyped up about it too every time I go get these Jordans with him. Haha.

Last time I went to the mall with brother A, brother K and Kayfunk for black Christmas to go shopping, brother A convinced me to grab those spizikes with him. And oh boy, did I wear the shit outta them! Aaron showed me the cool grey spizikes that his sister help him cope that are even released yet and ohh are they sexy.. These bad boys cost just as much as the 19/4 pack thats coming out today but I'm contemplating if I should just surrender to these...

We will just have to find out later today what my decisions are. I will probably try those IV's on and some how be persuaded to buy them. I don't knowwwww!! But I will at 9 in the morning. Alright, it's time to go to sleep now so I can wake up and not let Aaron down on his confirmed Jordan pack, complimentary to wonderfully irresistable Alex :] Thaannnkkk you!

First Blog

Yes, I've decided to convert to the blogging life for some reason and I don't know why.. But for some reason I just can't keep up with xanga. This just gives me time to blog about today or anything interesting that I learned or happened in daily routines.

Well, today seemed like one of those life changing days. One of those days you just feel like things are just gonna go better from here. I can only hope for the best and see how things work out. Just need to hope for the best and prepare for the worse.

I met up with Daryl, Sarah, and Kyle at the OC Fair today with my new friend Alex. We went because every thursdays and fridays are $1 rides til 7pm so we decided to head down there and catch as many $1 rides as we could. We didn't get to make it on time but Alex and I had a good hour to catch 2 rides for $1. We got to ride rides, pet the animals, eat a delicious funnel cake, watch limbo men do acrobats, watch lucha libre (mexican wrestling?), and I finally got to win a prize on my first try! Alex and I got to stop by the beach before we headed home and had the opportunity to grab couple tacos before I dropped her off. Over all, the day went pretty swell and I am content.
This blog spot seems like the beginning of a new chapter in my life :]
