Gogi-katsu taco?

LOL. This week my grandma was out of town so Jon came over (like always) and we decided to make some dinner. I had eaten donkatsu the night before and I was making some bulgogi for dinner that night. Jon came up with the beautiful idea to have our own gogi taco at my house since there was some tortilla left over from my birthday. Dammmnnn, it was dank! Stoner move on us haha but it was a successful night! Not only did we make gogi tacos but we mixed up the taco with bulgogi, donkatsu, lettuce with some rice! Weird concept, yes, I know. I'm pretty sure I wasn't high but I have to admit that it wasn't bad. I gotta cook at home more often. I just love it :)

Feeding the Homeless

Today morning I went to go feed the homeless with my church. It was about a couple blocks from skid row. As we were setting our tables up on the side of street people already knew what we were doing and was eager to get in line for food. We got our table set up and we starting making ham sandwiches for the people. It was nice to hear people thank me for doing something positive for them instead of selling them drugs or letting them know what party was cracking that night. While I was putting the mustard on the sandwiches I was just so thankful for the meals I know will get later today. I use to always complain there was nothing to eat at my house, when reality I was just too damn lazy to make myself anything. We take so many things for granted and I thank God for EVERYTHING he's blessed me with in my life. I was pretty close to not going this morning cause it was so early but I'm glad I just sucked it up and went cause it was truly a life lesson learned for me. I feel like these people gave me something more than what I have given them. I'm thinking about going to India for mission this summer.. til next time!

My 21st Birthday!

I know it passed.. But it's been a crazy weeeeek and I finally got to recoop from last week xP Anyways, I had a nice taco party at my house then on my birthday I went to Hooters. I was suppose to go somewhere after hooters but I don't really remember what happened after I walked out of Hooters.. ahhaha so I guess I had a good birthday? hooter girls, chicken wings, free drinks, the homies, the catwalk, and being caked 4 times equals a pretty damn good time for me. Thanks to everyone that came out that day.

It finally feels good to let go of my alter-ego, Rosa Kim that comes out at night when I'm drunk hahaha. But now I can just be myself :) I do feel a little wiser and a little taller after turning 21. I got a lot of things to look forward to this year. I got a lot of things going and keep myself busy. Going to school, working part time still at the clinic, running my online business, and also on the weekend I'm the photographer for Blended events at v20! But y'all know j dub always has fun. It's been a good year so far. I've quit smokin' bud (working on the cigarettes :/), less raves and more focus, working three different jobs but off the hustle now, and just been excited about the new friends I've been making. I'm not sure if this is how I pictured myself at the age 21 but I'm definitely satisfied with it. I'm just glad I'm finally doing something different this year :D
