Michael Jackson RIP, De King of Pop!

Today is not just a sad and devasting day in America but to the world. The music legend, Michael Jackson was pronounced dead in UCLA medical center today from a cardiac arrest at the age of 50. His passing is a great loss to the world.. Apart from his scandals and rumors in the past decade he still made great music and rocked a generation of music that changed the world. Everyone is still in shock that the King of Pop has passed.. He has influenced so many people in our generation including myself and created an era that cannot be replaced. It's sad to hear that he had to go before he made his comeback with his London tour that was suppose to take place in mid July. It's a tragic loss but I thank him for his stunning performances, his music contribution and the memories. His music legacy will truly live on. Long live the 80s.

“And my goal in life is to give to the world what I was lucky to receive: the ecstasy of divine union through my music and my dance.”

You Ain't Gotta Be Stoned to Have Fun with Food.

I just had to post these pictures up haha. Yesterday, John and I had some korean bbq at my house. We went all out with some legit salad and some boot-chin-gae and we started cooking our beef and pork in this wannabe George Foreman grill (which we were frustrated about but we just dealt with it). Then afterwards we had these geem left over had some fun with it, haha. We started to geeking out for about a good hour figuring out new ways to have fun with it. My grandma was getting mad that we were playing with our food but in the end I made her cut out a piece to do a hitler mustache too. haha! But too bad she wouldn't let me take a picture of her.. Anyways heres some pictures we took, haha.

For some reason this looks normal on Jon...

Gogi-katsu taco?

LOL. This week my grandma was out of town so Jon came over (like always) and we decided to make some dinner. I had eaten donkatsu the night before and I was making some bulgogi for dinner that night. Jon came up with the beautiful idea to have our own gogi taco at my house since there was some tortilla left over from my birthday. Dammmnnn, it was dank! Stoner move on us haha but it was a successful night! Not only did we make gogi tacos but we mixed up the taco with bulgogi, donkatsu, lettuce with some rice! Weird concept, yes, I know. I'm pretty sure I wasn't high but I have to admit that it wasn't bad. I gotta cook at home more often. I just love it :)

Feeding the Homeless

Today morning I went to go feed the homeless with my church. It was about a couple blocks from skid row. As we were setting our tables up on the side of street people already knew what we were doing and was eager to get in line for food. We got our table set up and we starting making ham sandwiches for the people. It was nice to hear people thank me for doing something positive for them instead of selling them drugs or letting them know what party was cracking that night. While I was putting the mustard on the sandwiches I was just so thankful for the meals I know will get later today. I use to always complain there was nothing to eat at my house, when reality I was just too damn lazy to make myself anything. We take so many things for granted and I thank God for EVERYTHING he's blessed me with in my life. I was pretty close to not going this morning cause it was so early but I'm glad I just sucked it up and went cause it was truly a life lesson learned for me. I feel like these people gave me something more than what I have given them. I'm thinking about going to India for mission this summer.. til next time!

My 21st Birthday!

I know it passed.. But it's been a crazy weeeeek and I finally got to recoop from last week xP Anyways, I had a nice taco party at my house then on my birthday I went to Hooters. I was suppose to go somewhere after hooters but I don't really remember what happened after I walked out of Hooters.. ahhaha so I guess I had a good birthday? hooter girls, chicken wings, free drinks, the homies, the catwalk, and being caked 4 times equals a pretty damn good time for me. Thanks to everyone that came out that day.

It finally feels good to let go of my alter-ego, Rosa Kim that comes out at night when I'm drunk hahaha. But now I can just be myself :) I do feel a little wiser and a little taller after turning 21. I got a lot of things to look forward to this year. I got a lot of things going and keep myself busy. Going to school, working part time still at the clinic, running my online business, and also on the weekend I'm the photographer for Blended events at v20! But y'all know j dub always has fun. It's been a good year so far. I've quit smokin' bud (working on the cigarettes :/), less raves and more focus, working three different jobs but off the hustle now, and just been excited about the new friends I've been making. I'm not sure if this is how I pictured myself at the age 21 but I'm definitely satisfied with it. I'm just glad I'm finally doing something different this year :D

Spring Break - San Francisco Suprise!

I made a suprise visit to San Francisco for this Spring Break. I've been going to the bay every spring break for the past 3 years so I couldn't possibly miss out this year! The crew up there didn't know I was showing up cause I told them I couldn't make it and they were all sad until I suprised them with visit and some el taurino! :D Anyways, I got the chance to check out their new crib and it was really good seeing you guys Christy, Justin, Jason and Soul! I went up on Monday night and I was suppose to take a flight back on Wednesday morning for court but I handled the court on Monday and they called me off for work so I came back on Thursday night for Jon's birthday. Though my visit was short it was really good seeing everyone and being back in that cold bay area weather. Most of the time I was up there I was pretty much drunk. Felt like I went to drinking camp instead of smoking camp this year. But next year again guys! Don't think I won't make it!

Beer of choice for the trip: Hipster beer, Blue Ribbons

Supposively the 5th roommate of the house, Fred.

Back reunited, it's the Ugly Americans. From LA to the Bay.

Me and Christy went to go check out this bar near by the house and we got some beer, chicken happy and these soju martinis.

We were on our way to Evan's work to get us some tri-tip bombay! Thanks again for hookin' it up Evan! :D

Thought that postcard was cool with a burberry theme on the AK ahaha but I thought it was cool cause I was in the picture. haha

Simple.

Justin's little brother came to visit while I was up there. They look NOTHING a like, I swear one of them was adopted. haha.

Bonfire @ Huntington Beach w/ Against All Odds workers!

Went to Huntington Beach and had a bonfire with An and his co-workers from Against All Odds since the store will be closing down in couple weeks. That was the first time I went to the beach this year and it felt reeeaaalllly good to finally sink my feet in the warm sand :) It was a bit cold but as the day went by we got to start our camp fire. Of course I was chef and we made some bomb ass hamburgers and carne asada w/ some habanero sauce :X Then we got to make my favorite, smores! I didn't take much pictures cause I didn't want my camera to get sandy but I did take some for memories :D

Cutest little shit! haha one of the girls brought her chihuahua poodle?

Getting ready to make some smores :D

An the man!

The whole Against All Odds workers + Jon.

The sun setting on the west coast. Pictures quality is not so good cause I panicked that the sun was going down so quickly ;/

An took over the camera so I had my fun messing with Jon while he was freezing haha.

Right after the sun died out, I was on my way to the car and took this last shot of Huntington Beach. Gotta love living here!

Formula Drift on Streets of Long Beach!

Brandon, An and I went to Long Beach to check out Formula Drift but we initially went to pass out flyers for the official after party we were throwing *gotta love my job :)*. We got there hella late but Joe helped us get in by grabbing other people's bracelets that were leaving the event haha. We saw the final show for the drift show and it was pretty fun. I can't complain if I got in for free yanno? Next year for sure I'll be there for the whole event!

Ya Boy performed that night at the After Party for Blended. Of course he played "We Run LA" in his set. :D

Me and Jeri Lee at the Formula Drift Official After Party @ V2O!

Las Vegas and D&B for Cuzzo's 21st Birthday!

I'm a little late on posting picture but better now then never! Anyways, the first week of April my cousin Angela invited me to go to Vegas with her for the weekend. I wasn't gonna go at first but I'm sure glad that I went! It was my first time being in Vegas going as a family vacation. It was fun staying up til 6 am doing whatever we wanted. The buffet was delicious, the casino hopping was exciting, meeting up with Sun was also good, and winning money at the craps table was dooppppeeee! I've never played Roulette or Craps but it was my first time and I absolutely hate Roulette but the Craps table is the shiiit! There's pictures from D&B and Vegas!

I'm the best cousin ever! Look at this sick ass electric guitar I got for her :)

And now for the Vegas trip.. this is one of my favorite buildings in Vegas.
